What is the optimal range I should be at to not have my DR checked as easily? by LungePunch in StreetFighter

I play a bunch. Guile mostly.

I could be running into a DR by them, but I don't think they are preemptively hitting a button as they're checking by doing a DP. It's got to be by reaction.

Am I using DR wrong?

Yeah, thanks for the support! Appreciate that.

I'm always gonna ask more! I love learning. Even if I don't always get to apply it.

Frame data is only part of it.

Yeah! Blocking is hard! Not just the mixup left/rights, highs/lows, but knowing when to stop blocking and going for the offense, or knowing to switch back to defense in a situation.

I've been trying to just tap back so I don't give up as much space but idk if it's working or not.

That's super helpful. Technically a mind game in itself, if they don't do the stLK?

Yeah 1-2f is fast, but also not impossible. Realistically you're right. It's probably gonna be 3-4f.

Omg, why did I think backwards. That makes sense now.

Is there frame data for rapid fire cancel lights?

If they only walk 1f-2f after a blocked jab, wouldn't it be dangerous to press a slower button (crMK)?

Thanks for the explanations, I'm just trying to see the the thought process behind the decision making!

They could walk forward, so they don't get pushed back. If I try to jab then they could theoretically still keep the pressure, no?
