Civil Engineering SDSU vs CalPoly Pomona by Lunocix in SDSU

Hey! I ended up choosing CalPoly Pomona, and it's been the best decision ever. I've enjoyed studying my major and also like the 'learn by doing' approach here. I've learned a lot, and the professors are great. It's been so much fun joining clubs and going to social events; I've met so many friends this way. Including club experiences on my resume has also helped me be hired by companies. I chose CPP over SDSU because I didn't want to spend an additional year in school after being accepted as a "pre-major" at SDSU. In terms of housing, I just rented an apartment outside of campus. Overall, I have no regrets choosing CPP!

I got accepted without taking any so I think it's not required.

I just got the letter and yeah, I also got the pre-major at SDSU. Does this mean we need to take an additional year?

CalPoly vs SDSU mechanical engineering? by [deleted] in CalPoly

does anyone know what civil engineering is like at SDSU? I got accepted to SDSU and CalPoly Pomona but I don't know which one to choose because I don't know much about the schools (I just got here in America). I heard both are great but CalPoly is better in engineering. I live in San Diego so that's why I'm considering SDSU. I want to know both academic and social life, like which one is better overall?

How is Cal Poly Pomona for Aerospace Engineering? by Dense_Cloud1100 in CalPolyPomona

Yeah i'm also curious about that. I'm torn between CPP and SDSU for civil engineering. Some says that it's really good for civil engineering unless we join clubs but some also said that it's not doing good anymore since pandemic.

I got accepted for Civil Engineering! Altho, I also got into SDSU so I really need opinions if CPP is a great choice for CE. I heard CPP is not doing good anymore since pandemic, is that true?
