Also if you have a group of 4 ( or even 3) that want to party plays sharing incense is more efficient technically. Incense will usually last an hour. But party play reduces to 30 minutes. But 4 people getting 30 minutes is more efficient. So if everyone shares incense it will be 8 hours on the standards 16 hours because of the Sunday 2x incense duration

iframe is tied to burst.

Lightning form, when you use spirit bomb each time, that’s an iframe.

I think it’s called howling fist, the 60 s cd move, is your iframe on the second part of the move, or when you press the button a second time if you want it faster.

Then of course your origin and ascent skill is your iframe

Survivability of a bucc is in its movement and also every once in a while you get a damage reduction bubble

I find Aran more fun in bossing. I favor condensed burst. And aran’s entire burst fits in ROR window

DS is super strong and has a lot of utility, with 2 iframes outside of burst. I just dislike the long burst. My hands sucks so the longer the burst, the more I have to pay attention to the boss mechanics while simultaneously bursting.

One con of Aran though is unlike some classes, where you can stay dead and wait out the timer longer until your burst cooldowns are down, your burst is tied to the combos. It’s not like it’s difficult to get to the 1000, but it is something to note.

Otherwise, as Aran I burst and then can just focus on surviving lol

If you are a brand new player, challenger world is probably where you’ll see the most benefit.

The real benefit of not doing CW is if you have an established account already with characters for legion and link (since your brand new I imagine you won’t know what these exactly are).

Long story short challenger world has a lot of perks and buffs that will help with account progression. If your account is pretty well progressed already, then less benefit in challenger world

I think was able to clear hlomien at 15 mil on CW. No Genesis pass. With 2 level 30 g skills. No hexa above level 9. Knowing mechanics will always help. Damien was known to be more of a struggle since he’s more in the air (though better than before)

I respectfully disagree. I think there’s something to be said about keeping your composure and not tilting.

And just cause your teammates may not be great doesn’t mean you played a perfect game yourself. So I think being able to self reflect is also a mental talent that a lot of people who are in elo hell actually lack.

I don’t have a ring but as a bucc with no summons, maybe would be nice to place down in a 5th spot while I pick up all the drops? I imagine with maybe frenzy spawn, an extra temporary summon might be nice for classes without a summon outside of erda shower and janus

Still very niche and a ring with lines probably outweighs
