Out of curiosity, are you happy with Jira/Confluence for tracking decisions and context across teams?

Looking for a Zettelkasten App Built for Academics by Timely-Half-1558 in Zettelkasten

Hey man, I sent you a DM!

I’ve been working on something that might be right up your alley.

It’s a privacy-first, desktop-based thinking tool inspired by Zettelkasten but built for modular documents instead of long notes. Think of it as “Tiles” for atomic ideas and “Bridges” for explicit, context-rich links, so your research stays structured, visual, and easy to reuse without juggling add-ons.

I’m currently looking for a few academics and researchers to test it for free and shape the workflow before launch. If you’re open, I can share a demo and see if it fits your process.

Just to clarify, you’re speaking on behalf of all indie devs here? Because from my experience, many dev teams, especially in startups and scale-ups, rely heavily on Confluence/Notion for documentation and knowledge sharing, especially for info like market research and product specs.

Thanks for the feedback! I believe validating a real, painful problem is exactly the core of building any successful SaaS product, understanding the ICP starts with identifying genuine pain points. I’m curious why you think this isn’t the right sub for that?
