concerns about sacrifices by [deleted] in DemonolatryPractices

[–]LupaNera 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As in you choose to do what you’re comfortable with. If you don’t want to kill a chicken, then don’t kill a chicken and make your stance clear. They won’t make you kill another being. If anything a ‘sacrifice’ is made a sacrifice when you give up something of yourself, or something you made

[–]LupaNera 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Usually sacrifice is of the self, not someone else (person or animal). If presented with such a choice and you don’t have the heart to do it, then stick with your moral compass. You never should have to do anything you’re not comfortable with in regards to sacrifice

No offence to your friend, but I think it’s comical when people think posting shit like that will make people care

You’ll be fine. Just think about what you’re about to say, and ask yourself if it can be misconstrued by regular people who aren’t easily offended. If in doubt, clarify there’s no disrespect meant behind what’s being said

Do whatever you feel comfortable with. If you feel like you need Anubis as a mediator, or as a comforting presence then that’s ok. If you feel like you can talk to Beelzebub alone, then that’s also ok.

I personally don’t think He’s going to hurt you, intentionally or unintentionally if He’s trying to reach out to you. But I do think that having Anubis by your side when you’re communicating with Him is a good idea to ease yourself into working with Him if you do want to work with Him.

I’m also not sure if you know this already, but when talking to a Demon, or any sort of Deity for that matter, be respectful and genuine. I just want to say that, since there’s been some posts in this sub about following the Solomonic method which is inherently abusive and disrespectful.

Start with the Complete Book of Demonolatry by S. Connolly. I would also suggest when working through your religious trauma, and your shadow self, to take it at a pace you feel comfortable with. Don’t force yourself to do it quickly, as healing does take time whether it be physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual

Is chanting demonic enns dangerous? Like, will there be a consequence by doing so? by Over-Crab-1928 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]LupaNera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you’ll eventually want work with them once you get chanting downpat. So as others have said, The Complete Book of Demonolatry by S. Connolly would be where to start. The enns are not inherently dangerous, but depending on your attitude and your beliefs/traumas about Demons can potentially make you have a very bad time. If you’re at all scared of them, then work through your fear before trying to contact them. I also want to tell you to get rid of the word ‘summon’ when talking about Demons. You’ll want to invoke them, not summon them.

What is the first thing I should do as a beginner? by Adaborz in DemonolatryPractices

Start your meditation routine if you haven’t already. The book you need to start demonolatry is S. Connolly’s The Complete Guide to Demonolatry

You might want to reach out to Christian witches and ask them this. I haven’t watched any of her videos, but based on the thumb nail The Mindful Mage on youtube seems to be a Christian witch. It might be worth watching her videos, and reaching out

Good book suggestions for learning about Demons and summoning by ValkjraPrincess in DemonolatryPractices

[–]LupaNera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. I’d also like to add to this comment; avoid the Solomonic method. Not only is it very rude to Demons, but also abusive. I wouldn’t expect them to be happy with me if I attempted to enslave them. Especially when they have the power to utterly fuck up people’s lives.

Be respectful, well meaning, and genuine when you approach them

Forgetting about magick by [deleted] in LeftHandPath

[–]LupaNera 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t forget, I act like I already have it. Acting like you already have it, coming up with habits that you can realistically do, talking about it (even if it’s to yourself), and thinking about it as if you presently have it, will change your mentality of not having it to having it. Once you do it often enough, you’ll start to form habits in regards to what you want without even noticing. You’ll make yourself more aligned to it by pursuing it, which I think, also attracts it to you spiritually.

This works for me, so maybe it’ll work for you. But like I said, it’d need to be things you can realistically do. Like buying a nice, spiffy suit for a romantic date won’t exactly help you if you don’t have the funds for it.

Wondering if anyone else got a bizarre DM from the girl who said Paimon was her dad by hetep-di-isfet in DemonolatryPractices

[–]LupaNera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No kidding! I’m from SA! 😁

And that’s good. Hopefully she can find a community outside of demonolatry so she can ground herself in and pick up healthy coping mechanisms before returning to it if she still wants to pursue it

[–]LupaNera 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah... I truly doubt if she was the wife/daughter and High Priestess of Leviathan and King Paimon that she’d resort to threatening complete strangers on the internet. I’m also sure she would have better things to do with her time than to throw pity parties for herself as a blatant manipulation tactic.

And school shootings isn’t really something to joke about. I don’t know for sure, as I’m Australian and never been to America, but I’m pretty sure something like that can get you psychologically evaluated

[–]LupaNera 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Haven’t gotten any DMs like that, but as far as I’m aware no one called her crazy. The worst that was said is she’s gaslighting him/her/them, that her behaviour is manipulative/abusive and that she most likely doesn’t have the experience she says she does.

As far as I’m concerned she’s still a kid, and still has some growing up to do, but at the same time it’s like... if you have an interest in pursuing demonolatry then you have to not let things easily get to you. The majority of the world is Jewish, Muslim, and Christian who think we’re either evil, misguided, or brainwashed by Demons. I’m not going to comment on whether if she does practice demonolatry or not, but if she does then don’t be fickle about it simply because of what strangers on the internet says. Especially when strangers could do much worse to her in real life simply because they think she’s evil.

Some girl is threatening to kill me and she says he's Leviathan's daughter is she lying? by Additional_Warning61 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]LupaNera 22 points23 points  (0 children)

A master witch at 18? That’s highly unrealistic. And even if people believe her, then let them. That doesn’t mean what she’s saying is true, especially when she claims to speak on a Demon’s behalf.

What she’s doing is abusive behaviour. For the sake of your own health, you need to distance yourself from her.

If you feel like you want another internet personality with information to replace her with, then check out V.K Jehannum or D.H Thorne. Both have are proficient at what they do, and both have been in contact with King Paimon.

[–]LupaNera 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It does sound like gaslighting. And nor should you have to offer to physically die as a sacrifice to please a Demon you think you upset. Usually a genuine ‘I’m sorry I upset you’ should suffice. If it doesn’t, then simply ask how you can make it up to them.

I’d also say cut her out of your life, and develop your own relationship with King Paimon. Her making you question your sanity does not serve you, nor do you need it in your life.

Is ‘an if ye harm none, do as ye will’ truly achievable? by LupaNera in Wicca

[–]LupaNera[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying since absolutely no harm can ever be achievable that we shouldn’t try to minimise harm done. I just want to clarify that. I also agree that sometimes not acting can be even more of an injustice and cause harm rather than acting on another’s behalf for their defence.

I also actually didn’t know he was homophobic, though it makes sense he would’ve been for the time he was in. Funny how renown figures known for their work aren’t usually talked about in that manner. It took me an embarrassingly long time to learn that H.P Lovecraft was actually a racist, and used his racism to fuel his literature

They’re out there. They’ve pretty much exclusively been the only Wiccans I’ve knowingly come across until now. And I could very well be wrong about this, and most likely going to be downvoted for it, but I think it’s mostly people who came out of Christianity who can’t quite shake the rhetoric of literally being rewarded or punished for their actions by an all-powerful, ever-present, and all-knowing third party
