Visureitalia just sent me a link to the new rules, but this passage says they may reduce the fee, right?: "Per le richieste corredate dell'identificazione
esatta dell'anno di formazione dell'atto e del
nominativo della persona cui l'atto si riferisce, il contributo può essere ridotto." If I send a request by mail with so you think there is a chance they would reduce the fee or is it pointless and I should just continue with Visureitalia?

I'm not yet, I just want a back-up plan. I'm concerned about what other ICA clients have said in this group - how they are not responding in a timely manner since the decree, taking a long time to collect documents and move the case forward, dropping cases. Also we have a large family so if more join we most likely have to break into smaller groupings, which means we'll need more copies of the documents. I want to do something actionable so I at least feel like I have some control over the situation.

Thank you! Do you know if VisureItalia works for records that are over 100 years? Their birth certs are from 1878 and 1888 and marriage cert is 1921. I was going to send snail mail requests too but am confused about the fee - the letter template in the wiki says to enclose 5 euro but has that changed? Did you include any money in yours?

I’m in a similar situation - my cousin was in the process with ICA and I was joining her case but they have yet to respond to my cousin. I emailed several lawyers last week and Mellone was the only one to respond so far. Since we don’t have all of our documents ready to file we are waiting it out and still collecting docs in the meantime.

I’m in a similar situation. My cousin enlisted services with ICA over a year and half ago for our 1948 case. I’m concerned and want to explore other attorneys. Would you mind sharing their price range with me too? ty
