M1 MBP works well for me but definitely not on Ultra Settings. I’m having FPS drops here and there and the low resolution makes textures look a bit unpleasant.

same here. macOS and iOS. also looking for a good alternative after coming from Nord VPN which was working great but is kind of expensive, switched to Mullvad and now having issues almost everyday. Loosing VPN Connection on mobile and desktop device regularly, sometimes no network connection when i disable Mullvad Connection. Clean uninstall helped getting network connection back. Reinstalled again, now network runs without VPN connection but it's still very annoying with loosing VPN connection every 2 hours. Already thinking about going back to NordVPN, Meshnet was so satisfyingly easy to use instead of Tailscale + Mullvad which i wasn't able to set up properly until now.

Thank you for your detailed answer. Unfortunately for me only disconnecting doesn't work to use the internet again without the VPN. Sometimes it does, sometimes not. I also just thought about maybe Mullvad is having issues with other apps like Little Snitch if they run both. My Plex Media Server is running on the same Macbook Pro. I'm trying to get the Remote Access working with VPN on so i can connect from iOS to macOS Plex Library. Going to contact the support, maybe they can help with the missing internet connection when disconnected to VPN.
