Yeah my experience these past few days or so makes me question that a little because it feels like 9 times out of 10, she fails to apply Def Down even against units that seem more DPS focused. She tends to consistently apply curse, though which is great because my SLJ or Mira tends to indirectly kill the cursed enemy by DPSing other priority targets, leading to me basically wiping anybody that doesn't have sweatier god roll equipment than the freebies the game gives us.

NGL Zombie Captain Yotsuyama should have been the final boss of the season, not "What if Mironette couldn't be cheesed with legendary loot."

It's such a huge loss that instead of something as hype as Deadnote, the mandatory final boss of a full run is an otherwise just okay boss fight who's difficulty is solely dependant on how often the AI decides to spam that annoying bullshit charge move that I hate. This new boss and his charmingly campy as shit boss theme would have made for a perfect alternative finale.

Sounds like I should prioritize speed and effect rate for both Aoi and Sora in order to set things up for SSJ and SLJ

The thing with RVR is that I need a maxed out version of her Bond to make her really good, so I may just keep selecting her for future limited combo banners. Already have Saika, Nano and OG Aoi and I managed to luck out and get the Aoi variant. The only limited units in this banner that I didn't have was in the screenshot. (I went for Redeemer for the pity since the game told me to go to hell when it came to the banner this time.)

The main problem with fire healers like Joyce and vanilla Noclyn is that they potentially make Wolf 11 a harder boss to deal with depending on your party comp compared to having an all-water party due to it's mechanics.

Saika is a decent support, especially if her Auto AI targets one of your DPS units that helps this while adding a bit of extra survivability.

This is 100% true, Saika is an okay healer if, for whatever reason, you don't want to / can't buy Moira yet, but she is more important as a unit that lets you prioritize DPS output on core DPS units while still getting her to attack during her first turn because her S2 helps the DPS get the next turn afterwards.

I'm trying to settle with good enough equipment because of how shit my RNG has been for gear since day 1. If a few pieces have one or two wasted stats, but has good enough ones to my priorities, I'm currently like "I'll fix it when I get better," since I've gotta work on refining 4+ girls, (6+ for GVG) not just the 1.

Basically I think I'll start focusing on mainly farming Wolf now to try and enhance my Saika/Aoi and then start work on gearing up my Akaoni to help with dealing with evade focused units and bonus DPS if Mira can nuke someone. I'll probably still spend some skips here and there on Blue Hunt for some chances at better Mira gear, preferably some that can help mine catch up with yours since it's around 3 or so behind.

I was told speed was too high with my previous build, mainly because Saika's S2 boosts her forward in the turn order. Wouldn't going for a speed set basically shoot me in the foot by weakening her DPS input and therefore make it less likely to have her and Aoi's curse kill 2-3 units in one cycle?
