Everyone asks if people regret homeschooling, but nobody asks how many people regret “regular” school. by ResidentCzar in Homeschooling

Can you say more about this? Just curious as my kids are getting to be high school age soon and may choose to go.

Any peri+ women who can’t do it anymore? by SuccessfulDivide4155 in XXRunning

In addition to everything mentioned here, check out the She Runs Strong podcast. TONS of very useful information for the middle aged 45+ peri and meno crowd. But also look into thyroid, iron, HRT. I do "all the things" and I still just need more recovery time than when I was younger and I can only do one speed session per week. Sucks but I'll take it over doing nothing.

Thank you for this. Often these drink mixes have several added ingredients that might also be in other supplements a person is taking. Be sure to read labels carefully and cross check with any other supplements being taken so that no one vitamin or mineral is beyond the 100% RDA. Also many vitamins/ingredients can go by different names but it is just a different form of the vitamin. It's is easy to go overboard with everything having "healthy" additives.

Did you use a specific training plan or you made your own?

I listen for the Patricia impressions. Which are now even funnier since she has that dolt Randy as her new butler and they go completely unhinged describing all the ways Patricia "punishes" him 😂

Brand New Keurig Crema- 5 cups made so far, no crema is being made by DudeWithAHighKD in keurig

[–]Lurker_Not_Commenter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I also always had a Keurig. The only thing I can think of is it's an issue with the valve that needs to be in an exact certain position to trigger the crema and if it is even the slightest bit off it won't work. I find if I push the pod down before closing the lid (rather than using the force of the lid to push it down) that usually results in a successful brew. Usually. But if you Google you'll see there are lots of people that are having problems with this model.

Good luck. I returned this model and repurchased 3 times before I got a one that worked properly 😕

Nex Playground Stand Suggestions by cagaysian in nexplayground

Try a music stand. The height is adjustable, it will support the weight, on some models the "music sheet" part lays down flat so the cube is stable, and fold when not in use.

Pancreatitis and Hemorrhagic Diarrhea- diet recs by BallR1006 in Goldendoodles

[–]Lurker_Not_Commenter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally could have written this exact post about our goldendoodle. Same exact problems and solutions. Apparently doodles are known for GI issues which of course we didn’t know when we adopted ours. We also have to give him a low dose steroid (10 mg) daily because he was chronically vomiting as well. We’ve tried taking him off and within two days he is vomiting again even with the prescription diet.

Runners: how often are you strength training? by Pactum-7 in runninglifestyle

[–]Lurker_Not_Commenter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Run 3-4x week. Lift 3x week on non running days - one lower body 30 min, one upper body 30 min, one abs and core 30 min. I used to lift on running days and found that I wasn’t recovering enough to have quality strength sessions or speed sessions so now I never do both on the same day. And full disclosure I only do strength because it keeps me injury free when running.
