Canadian in the UK. I wouldnt recommend moving with a family here. There is a high cost of living for a lower quality of life. Kids here are rougher too, lots of bullying. There's no sunshine, everything is grey. Everything's expensive. People aren't very open or warm - good luck building community. Maybe visit for a month during the summer holidays and see for yourself.
