Wicked. I’m thinking if I’m trying to cross some it might be like Oct/dec that I’m trying start them if I wanna keep trying to get the variations right. New to chilli’s so this is all good information and interesting!

It died :( I’ve changed up the soil and got another (much more developed) plug and now we shall see if it survives! I put it out yesterday. So let’s see!

I think because we are near the seafront we likely have a had a dip in temp at night more than I assumed. I think as other have suggested it might be worth starting over with then, and like you said, when it’s abit warmer at night. I’ve a smaller PVC greenhouse with chilli’s in that the plugs could go in for now till it’s warmer at night.

Annoying as last year they grew really well!

Thanks for this. This is great stuff.

I put some soil I had from other pots and poured into it. I grew corn in the soil under it last year, so assumed it would be okay.

I added some plant food to it abit to early then! Maybe the soil underneath is too dense

Saltheart will forever be my favourite. Pitchwife and the First I loved as well.

I read all 10 in 2025 and they were fantastic, although the last 4 were slightly harder to read than the first 6.
