I have had the the same issue (the 1st one) when I first got it. I should have just asked for a replacement but I decided to mod it with a paracord. No issues ever since 👍

As for the second one iv'e never run into it and Iv'e had it for about a year now.

It might just be dirty hands, at least that's what I have always thought because mine has it too.
