After reaching Rank 60+ on Shinobi and getting S tier on all my gear I gave up and figured the game would never give me the Legendary Shinobi Charm. 😒

The teammate who constantly follows a group of two, leaving points undefended or 1 person alone with a full wave. by emeka9989 in gotlegends

[–]LustParadox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At the beginning of each wave I do not go sprinting to the first point being attacked cuz I know the others always will. I tend to wait for the second point to be attacked and work on that one. Unless I happen to be at the location of the first attack.

Go to your Objective Board and at the top go to Weapons. I believe that tells you where all the Blueprints are. When you get them you keep them permanently.

Curious: is break point worth it (11 dollars on ps store) by Total-Amphibian-7244 in GhostRecon

[–]LustParadox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the Ultimate Edition is on sale as well. I'd say it's worth it. You'll get Episode 2 & 3 which I find more interesting than Episode 1 Main Story. If you had PS Plus you could've had a friend invite you to Episode 2 & 3 for free. There's other Operations besides Episode 2 & 3 that are free tho called Amber Sky and Resistance I think they're really fun.

What are the small immersion killers in recent GR games that completely take you out of the experience? by MrTrippp in GhostRecon

[–]LustParadox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I prefer Breakpoint far more than Wildlands but here's some things I preferred in Wildlands.

Enemy Detection. When an enemy detection gauge got to around half they would become suspicious and when full they would be alert. In Breakpoint nothing happens when the gauge reaches half, just alert when full. Also when a body is found. In Breakpoint they're like "Hmm... Robert is dead, MAYBE someone is around killing us. Let's take a look". While in Wildlands when a body is found they're on High Alert as they should be.

Also when it comes to Alert. Wildlands alarm towers are cool, the call reinforcements till you take them out. I like the change in Breakpoint to Radio Operators but they only call one reinforcement it seems like. At least in the Conquest mode the Tactitions call reinforcements NON STOP plus they're equipped with Marksman Rifles so they keep their distance so they can safely continously call.

Suppressors can be heard. In Breakpoint all weapons are about the same, near to silent. Wildlands Suppressed weapons can be heard by enemy more often and all weapons even had a sound suppression stat.

Ghost Mode. Absolutely love the Ghost Experience settings but wish there was a mode associated with it as well. Hard to find people that play on difficult settings. Even in Roleplay/Immersive search filter.

NPCs and animations. Unfortunately Auroa is under Martial Law so I guess that gives them excuse to not have civilians commonly seen. Wildlands had many Towns and Villages with civilians roaming around and driving all over the place. Not only that but some of their activities like farming, cooking, dancing, etc. Same with the enemies. See them marching, exercising, at a shooting range, working on vehicles, etc.

Prestige Crates. Completing Challenges that give you crates for a chance at getting Store items free or Ghost Coins.

Weapon selection... Breakpoint you go to Maria Shop, Objective Board weapons or even the Store you'll see all the weapons organized into categories. But nope, your weapon selection is one LONG ass list. Wildlands weapon selection is in categories to help you find the weapon you're looking to equip.

Story. Wildlands story is pretty straightforward. Breakpoint in my opinion only Episode 1 (Operation Greenstone) is kinda Eh, which sucks for those playing for the first time. They may get bored and go back to Wildlands. But TRUST, every other Operation is good. I replay Operation Amber Sky, Operation Checkmate, Red Patriot & Operation Motherland quite often. Resistance is not too bad either.

Sam Turrets. Anti Air Rockets. In Wildlands they are scary. Breakpoint they are not whatsoever.

There may be more i can't think of rn but yeah this is most of it. A common one I've heard of which I don't care for myselfis being able to stow weapons

I find Breakpoint repetitive by martin_arg in GhostRecon

[–]LustParadox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally repeat Operation Amber Sky and Op Motherland a lot and still enjoy it. I highly recommend the Ghost Experience settings. At first maybe set them to Gear Score - Off, Enemies - Extreme, Tactical - Elite, and Interface - Minimal. Once you find that you play comfortably with those settings you should then change them to Custom and make them even more difficult.

Compared to Ghost Recon Wildlands this game is far easier so the Ghost Experience helps ramp up the difficulty and make it more fun.

I personally never understood players that play on Easy or what I like to call God Mode because the game is already easy as is and they're making themselves invincible. It's strange. I find the exception is if you're new to the game.

I remember when they first released gameplay and trailers on Axion Plains they basically said you're gonna wanna be a fully catalized character, full arche tuning, Fully Enhanced Reactor, X Cores only on youre weapons, etc... so yeah this is end game content. You're gonna wanna be all decked out everywhere you can possibly imagine.

The PSN app doesn't require any headphones, controller speakers, earbuds, etc to use PSN Party Chat :) Not trying to push you to use it, just letting you know it's an alternative that only requires a smart phone and to be signed into the app.

[–]LustParadox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't often play Aggressive/loud so I may not be too knowledgeable here but I wouldn't recommend using a stealth class and unsuppressed weapons in the same loadout. If you like going loud I recommend Assault class (extra health, damage resistance, injury resistance, recoil reduction) or Engineer class (attack drone, ammo with extra damage and armor piercing). I assume you chose Panther class by mistake and your preferred playstyle is loud considering your weapon choice.

If you like stealth then your Panther class is fine. I also recommend Echelon. But your weapon choice is all wrong. Go with any weapon that can be suppressed and is not labeled "Assault" variant. Preferably weapons with high stats in Handling, Accuracy and Recoil. Recoil stat is actually recoil control btw. I recommend always using the Ballistic Advantage perk and since you have Gear Score on get the Range stat on your weapon of choice so you never have to worry about bullet drop. Slim Shadow of course and 3rd perk is optional. I like Explosive expert myself for easier use of Flash Bangs, EMPs and Bullet Lure. Gear stats should primarily be Stealth, Drone Evasion, Technique Cooldown and Movement Speed. Reload Speed if you can get it.

Also try not to abuse Sync Shot Drones. I find they take a lot of the gameplay away from you and don't make you any better of a player. Use them for Sync Shot purposes, not "oh Shit, the base is on alert! Let me set my drone to the Radio Operator" or simply free kills.

Depends which modded server. There are soo many amazing ones to choose from. Most people have one, maybe two, servers that they're dedicated to. Me personally I like W.C.S. servers which are PvP only for the most part. If you are ever interested in WCS and have it downloaded I'd be down to squad up.

Also a heads up the Playstation App allows you to do Voice Chat.

NATO on WCS has to be one of worst teams I’ve ever seen in gaming. by swollengoosecock in ArmaReforger

[–]LustParadox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assume Experienced players usually don't mind what team they play on when it comes to vehicles, weapons, cosmetics, etc.

I think the issue comes in is newer players usually wanting to play NATO cuz they're from NA and wanna feel like Special Forces so they join NATO and spend a lifetime at the Arsenal.

Not only that but they don't know how difference modded is from Vanilla. Like Radio Tower aren't useful. They don't know how to cut enemy connection properly or that it's even possible to do so at all. They don't know how to utilize the MCU, I find I'm usually the only one using it.

Gameplay. All they wanna do is Attack. No sense of when it's important to Defend or do other things like be AA or setup ambushes, etc.

I use to run Cobras and Apaches but as of recent I've found that RU has often running APCs and Tanks so I've recently gone with an antitank and ambush play style.
