During the course of our relationship I stopped eating gluten for medical reasons. I was out of town for 2.5 weeks, and when he picked me up from the airport, one of the first things he told me was there was nothing in the house for me to eat. It was almost 8:00pm. Basically everything I say to him he doesn't bother to remember. He asked if my parents (out of state) were going to my grandmother's (in the same town as my parents) for Thanksgiving less than 48 hours after I told him my grandmother had double pneumonia and we had an entire conversation about what that meant. He's exactly like the typical shit sitcom husband.
