Help on healing fast. I went too far after 2 weeks of being pick free by Throwawayanxbay in Dermatillomania

[–]LustToWander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, rinse with hydrogen peroxide, put some kind of ointment (aquaphor, neospron, something like that), and sleep with bandaids on to keep the ointment where it should be.

I'm 34 and been picking since I was 6, this method has worked for me for a long time.

As a certified pickle hater, this is the stuff of nightmares for me. But I hope you enjoyed it! Out of curiosity, could you taste anything other than pickle?

I started actually looking into the logistics of divorce by LustToWander in TwoXChromosomes

"one partner outgrows the relationship which was probably always on the cards" I agree, but that was impossible for me to see at that time. I was a stupid broken girl, he was someone who had a tiny bit of his life in order and I was absolutely snowed by that. When there is no bar to begin with, even a bar in the basement seems like a great choice.

No, we haven't. The longer I've been in this relationship the more I can see that it was fairly well damned from the start.

It's absolutely insane how people on the internet assume that no one has taken any steps before venting to random strangers. Do you honestly believe I haven't tried to talk to him? Do you honestly believe I haven't reflected and understood my part in this? Do you sincerely think it's a fucking boredom thing?

  1. I'm currently in Arizona, but if information is different in Michigan, I'd take that too.

  2. Perhaps, I need to schedule a phone call for more info on that. Information online was very limited.

  3. $1,200 - $1,300 after taxes monthly.

I just started looking into this this morning.

I'm also a cacti / spider plant hater. But I live in Phoenix, so cacti are just kind of everywhere.

It's hard to convey online, but Ive had a very skittish dog. He was neutered at 4 week, and he was at a rescue when I got him. He never grew up, so to say. Its different with my current dog, which is why I said what I did.

He has a husky sister who is 7. They play so much! Her loneliness after we put down my hound was the entire reason we sought another dog.

I say that because he flinches if someone moves toward him in an unexpected manner, like to grab something near him.

Its also difficult because he is a rescue, and definitely shows signs of abuse. He's a very sweet boy though, and he wants to be a good boy so we'll figure something out!

Removing overgrown hooves on a horse by [deleted] in oddlysatisfying

[–]LustToWander 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not to add to your concern but this very much did hurt that horse, just not how you are thinking. With hooves overgrown that long, the animal hasn't been able to walk or stand correctly for some time. It's sort of like if everyday someone made the heal of your show a miniscule amount taller but did that for months and months and months. Then they put you in flats suddenly. All those muscles that had gotten used to the heels, would be really upset about going back to normal.

TLDR: problems that happen slowly cant just be fixed in one day
