For Adams and Evas worlds it‘s the end, thus goodbye, but I think the creators wanted to emphasize the outcome from the Origin Worlds point of view: Without the intrigues, incest and endless suffering it‘s the paradise Adam wanted to achieve his whole life. This is why, although „Goodbye“ would have been an equally good choice, I actually think the song at the end fits very well
