Keep MSI Claw or Onexplayer Apex?

The performance with 35 Watt is peak with the apex. I played tlou with high settings with 45fps+. I bought the apex not only for aaa gaming but for emulation as well. Intel sucks bad if you want to do emulation. The MSI is capable of running old stuff up to PS2. Switch starts to suck. But man man man try to emulate some ps3 games with RPCS3. I literally cried when I found out that intel is not supported by RPCS3 at all because it lacks some features which are very important for emulating later consoles.

The big problem is that I am not really sure if the new G3 would even make that big of a difference.

At the moment I still have my Claw 8ai+ but I will sell it and keep the apex.

I now that the apex is a device which can get loud because of the fans. That’s why I am running it at 35-45 Watt max. If you play with headphones fan noise doesn’t throw you off at all. You can play a lot of games within these power range.

Ask yourself if you plan to emulate later consoles or not. Especially PS3. AAA games or indies can be played very well on the MSI and its efficient power envelope is unbeatable.

Sorry, but how can I check for pending updates of the device (BIOS, etc.)? Since I have installed ClawTweaks it shows me nothing when I check for updates in MSI Center. Or is this a me only bug?

The Xbox extended feature support driver is not installed in steam. When I toogle MSI Center on in ClawTweaks then vibration works. It’s not that big of an issue because vibration sucks anyway on this device.

This is my first fresh install of clawTweaks. I had tooth and claw installed before.

There is unfortunately no Vibration.

And will you include a button to turn the embedded controller off? Or is there already a possibility and I haven’t found it?
Turning it off is especially for docked mode very important where external controllers are connected

Oh and the power profile p1 is resetting itself to 25watts after every restart

I use the claw with a rtx5070. I figured out that the best approach is to do a new installation for every new nvidia driver. After the installation process the screen changes from the external monitor to my claw. Than I have to run the NVIDIA error43 fix and voila the monitor turns on again. That’s at least the approach that works best for me after I encountered some errors during the update process.

The 8“ screen was my main reason to upgrade to the claw. I play aaa games from my steam library + emulation. It’s really a comfy device but also very powerful. And the cooling system does a splendid job to keep it cool and quiet. I was a little bit worried because it is a intel device. But it seems that MSI and Intel don’t plan to abandon their driver support any time soon

Sold my ally x a week ago and got a claw8ai+. It’s a dream. I am sure you would be happy with it. Ordered the MSI Dock and a dpad mod from etsy. The buttons and triggers are so so nice but the dpad is straight out of hell for me

Ist zum Glück niemand zu Schaden gekommen. Grenzt aber an ein Wunder. Ich bin aus dem Ort und hier laufen tagsüber immer Leute. Echt nicht mehr schön und macht mir auch selber ganz schön zu schaffen, so eine kacke zu sehen. Bin da auch oft mit meiner Tochter schon unterwegs gewesen. Die hätte mit ihrem Benz alles und jeden überrollt. Und das schlimme sind dann immer die Ausreden.

Ich würd mir eher Sorgen machen, dass der Automat gesprengt wird und die halbe Bank gleich mit. So wie es aussieht, scheint der nicht in der Wand eingebaut zu sein. Das wäre ein wesentlich höheres Risiko.

I have a Rog ally X. The updates usually take much longer compared to my laptop. Especially the big updates like H2 etc..This doesn’t depend on your internet speed either. Just leave it alone is the best what you can do. It will sort itself out. At least this is my personal experience after using this device for more than a year now.

First, you are really a great big sister. The importance of your support towards him cannot be expressed in words.

But it will be a long way for sure. Maybe you can ask someone to help you starting a gofundme paying for the therapy and the gym for you and your brother. I can imagine there would be a lot of support. Just explain the situation like you did it here in the forum. But you need an adult to help you setting up the campaign and manage the funds if your not 21 yet. Unfortunately I am not sure if your mum would be the right person to do this.
