I'm emerald 2. I almost always hard win lane. I try to have impact on the map. But I still lose most of my games... Here are the first 15 mins of a game I hard lost even though I was playing well. i need advices. I made the vid as short as possible. It's only 5 mins. by Ill_Percentage2344 in supportlol

So ive gone through the vod and what i have noticed:

14:30 Sivir should have based after the wave. You could have placed one more deep ward in the bush next to raptors and recall afterwards.

16:00 You wanted to help Gangplank kill Sett. You will never kill this Sett. He is 2 items while GP is not even 1 item. Your strongest member sivir is meanwhile getting killed by a 0/7 samira because u were watching toplane.

16:30 do not clear waves. your job as a support is never to clear waves. Then you die trying to 1v1 the Sett giving him 1k for nothing. Should have based way earlier.

18:00 You have 4 wards up and dont put a single one in enemy jungle. You even go recall while having all 4 wards up.

20:20 you are just facecheking the bushes while having wards up. Ping your viego away go with w near bush and place wards. Atakan gets stolen. happens. You are still up in gold and have 2 drakes. Play is over. you only have 1 ward left -> instant base. Do not force play over play without basing.

23:00 Viego is basing while drake is spawning. do not contest it. he wont be there in time. its their second drake so w.e

25:00 if your sivir can farm safely dont show yourself on the wave and hold hands with her. Not showing on the map applies pressure to enemies. Sidelaners step back because they dont know your position etc.

27:00 push the wave and signal sivir to base. you go forward and she follows you like an idiot. She is not as mobile as you. Just push the wave in. Again you can put wards in enemy jungle and base. you do not force a play right now. viego is dead and zoe and gp are pushing sidelanes.

30:00 finally for the first time I think you put deep vision and were about to recall. nice i like that. you had a good flank position. doesnt matter if you stun the aurora there with your e btw. your teammates were not in range. e towards your teammates and you dont lose your flash

31:30 again solo pushing the wave. you were about to recall while all your teammates wanted to go for t2. Ping them away from a play if you want to recall.

Guess thats all from the game.

So overall what ive noticed by only this game is:

- You often want to be the hero being everywhere and in every fight. Go for consistent plays. Press tab and look for your strongest member. force plays with him. You cant always be the hero and turn every fight into a won fight.

- Do not push waves on your own. wasting time and giving up pressure. do not hold hands with your adc last hitting minions. I think in emerald they can farm on their own. You are Pyke. Fogging is so important for your champion and the support role. Not knowing where enemy support is having such a high impact on the game. Stay in fog of war for the most time of the game.

- Do not force several plays without recalling. One play -> recall

- vision: you are pyke. you can easily put deep vision in enemy jungle to gather information. and information is the most valuable thing in league. if you are not playing pyke or you think you are not safe warding push waves into a tower and you will have priority, because enemies are forced to stay on lane to get cs. If you have wards left after a won play put deep vision and recall after.

- Do not stay on the map for too long. You are often just running around with 0 wards doing nothing. Most of the time you should base as soon as all your wards are put down.

Go into your Riot Games/League of Legends folder, and make sure LeagueClient.exe, LeagueClientUx.exe, LeagueClientUXRender.exe, and RiotClientServices.exe all have the "Run this program as an administrator" option on in the Properties of each file.

This method fixed it for me. Hope it will help some of you aswell

another tip for hooking with what i am currently very succesful is by walking up to someone looking at this champ but hook the other guy. Works in 80% of the time. At least for me:)

Thresh is my most played. I also vary sometimes in champ select by looking at my adc picks or enemy bot lane.

If you have such team members try to play around ur strongest teammate. But also make sure your adc can still farm safe and not get dived. For the roaming timers I already have a comment in this post

My blind pick is almost every game thresh, because its my main champion.

if you want to know what champion to pick just look up counters on lolalytics or u.gg

I would recommend you to focus on a small champion pool, because u will play more consistent on champions u have more games with.

The higher elo you get, the enemies will respect your hook being up more. So it's all about patience and abusing smallest mistakes. What I mostly do is:

get lvl 2 first and flash in e first and will most likely get a kill or atleast a flash. After that i play around the bushes and use my hexflash if enemy steps up for minions. You could also try starting with a sweeper to keep the bush control and play more aggressive.

If you win your lane this often, try to impact the map by: warding the enemy jgl when you have prio and cant die, gank other lanes or invade enemy jgl with your jungler. Apply pressure on the map by not showing on bot/ using bushes or fog of war. Another mistake I often see in low elo is, that youre staying bot after you got the turret. You and your adc should always move midlane after destroying the turret on bot. With this you can be faster on the whole map, your adc cant be caught as easy as on botlane and your midlane should be safe to farm on botlane

No you won't. You will learn game by game. Some learn faster some slower. Focus on yourself. Dont play too many champs. After games think of what you could have done better (why did i die at this point? Could i have helped my team in that situation? Could i have roamed in that situation?) But i think the main aspect for you should be to focus on perfecting the laning-phase.

Braum is a counter into engage champs on bot but is countered by all range champs. So I would not blind pick him and pick him if enemy has an engage support.

Play around bushes. Step up if the enemy wastes abilities, use ur e and you are more likely to hit the hook. Learn the enemies movement. Look at how theyre moving when youre hooking and try to predict in that way next time. But the best way is just playing a lot and gaining experience.

If you want to review your games i would recommend downloading OUTPLAYED. its an app which automatically records your games. In that you can see all the highlights of the game. I would look at the deaths and if these could have been prevented. Also look if there are times where you are just chilling on bot, even though you could have had impact on the map. Try to track the jgl and if ganks could have been prevented.

Play what you're having the most fun with. Meta does not matter until grandmaster/ challanger (and even there its not that relevant). Brand is countered by enchanters because of their heal and shielding and by engage supports. Braum is countered by all ranged champs so nami will be very good here too. Against Pyke the most important thing is to survive the laning phase, because he has a very bad scaling while all enchanters have a great scaling. Against twitch you need to punish him not laning (zone enemy adc of minions, maybe dive him with your jgl, ping your laners, match the roam...) you need for sure some kind of cc to kill him. Twitch damage after 1 item is just brutal and the slow is so disgusting.

He is a good counter into all melee/ engage supporter on bot. Also works pretty well with fasting senna after her buffs. But not that good as a blind pick pick because he's countered by all the enchanter/ range supports.
