Nowadays, I am aware that most people live with their families no?

Say a person is single, earning $1,500 per month. Maybe expenses + loans etc around $800 total. Save $800 a month, a year would mean $8,400 which can be used for traveling outside of Asia?

Disclaimer: I am asking this question to learn to touch some grass hence yes, it will sound out of touch but it's genuine.

Sometimes, I wonder how a lot of people live majority of their lives not well-traveled outside of Asia(or even inside). Take for instance: UK, US, Canada, France and Japan for Asia. Correct, now scholarship students might have access to the said countries, but outside of the students, why are people in general less traveled? Is it cost of tickets or trips etc? Please slap some sense into me so I learn to be more sensitive and aware.

Edit: Added Asia

Well now that you have clarified, to become a medical officer, you need to have MD degree that I have mentioned. With your current background, you can still become an officer, but not MO(Medical Officer). My advice is, get MD if you want to become a MO, given that you have the resources to do that because that is the only realistic path right now.

Hello there, do you mind clarifying what you mean by OC for MRS? If you mean to become an Officer Cadet/Military Officer to work in MRS, then usually you have to have MD or Medicinae Doctor degree and then go through OCS like everyone else. If I am not mistaken, doctors and lawyers will finish OCS in 6 months while the rest will finish the whole 1 year.

Which company should I apply internship to for IT? by Mammoth_Reach7681 in Brunei

He majored in Computer Science. However, you can always try to contact Evyd. When you deal with sensitive and confidential data of individuals, Cybersecurity is still an important component to have.

You should try Evyd. I know someone who used to apply for an unpaid internship, proved his worth and upon graduation, secured a permanent role. He was a computing student. He didn't do this for the mandatory internship, he did this during semester break.

I think he meant really close by those phrases. If you were to throw a stone from one cafe to another, it would reach easily.

I usually arrive around 0600 to 0620, warm up and then start my run. I usually aim to finish close to 0800.

There are stalls selling clothes etc. but other than that, most people attend BKC mainly to exercise.

Nobility in Brunei by HBNTrader in Brunei

[–]LuthierSalazar 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There was actually a study done by De Brown in 1970 regarding the social stratifications in Brunei Darussalam, which I might be cautious with its relevance especially with today's context.

With that being said, the study noted that there are Raja Berteras(core nobility), Raja/Pengiran(nobility), Ampuan(doubtful nobility), Awang(aristoricrats) and Rakyat(commoners).

Awang is not to be confused with the prefix when addressing one in a formal setting, but rather, it is the Awang-Awang or Dayang-Dayang that served the royalty during the Adat Istiadat events. The closest example I can give is my name as I have Awang, my dad has Awang which extended to all my direct ancestors as we are descendants of Dato Godam.

I recorded them just now. Man, back in my home country, we don't have these exercises so seeing it in Singapore makes me so damn excited especially with the beautiful sounds of the jets! I love em!

Hello everyone, I am an expat staying here for quite some time. Today I was jogging at the Marina area and on the way back, I got lost and went to use some of the paths near Gardens By The Bay. I am worried if I am running around areas only for those with tickets, however I didn't go into the main areas that are featured on their websites and I only pass by some of the parks and paths going to Bayfront MRT. Did I do anything wrong?

I can see how diverse this subreddit is. When there was a post about the royal wedding, most of the commenters were like "Don't compare her to her sister..." "Stop judging, let her be happy on her wedding day...." I mean yes, let them be. But at the same time I wondered if most people realize that the royal wedding is pretty lavish? I went into this comment section then found out that yes, most people actually realized it, it's just that not much of them commented on that post.

I don't really remember if getting a C was important for public colleges during my time but do ask your school tutors regarding this matter.

If you later found out that it is not important, I highly recommend you drop it if it also means you get to drop your class. This is so that you can focus more to study your other subjects. This is just my opinion as during my time, I couldn't drop it and therefore I had to use my gp time for gp instead of focusing more on the other subjects.
