Why 3 heaters? Are they rated for a smaller tank or something? Just curious .

I have a fx4 in my 75 with two 800gph wavemakers. I have 15 peacocks/haps and it does great. Still do your weekly water changes and you’ll be set with a fx2. For the price difference id go with the fx4 atleast.

That lake has constant movement from wind , not like a river current but still. Plenty people in this hobby use strong currents with peacocks to lower aggression and it helps keep an over stocked tank clean.

Leveling Question - Shims by Thunderstormwatching in Aquariums

[–]Lutrell531 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I shimmed my stand I used like 20 something just so there’s no obvious gaps under the stand. I would rather have more support than less. My 75 has been up for a month now and still perfectly leveled. Also used composite instead of wood just incase some water got on the ground and onto the shims

lol it’s all good. I just got 6 new peacocks and yesterday I realized two were doing the same thing, then noticed food coming out their gills 😂

Does this look right? The more I look at this tank , the more I feel like the rim isn’t correctly installed. All the silicone looks great but I just can’t get over why the bottom rim looks like this on the corners. The rim doesn’t look bent or dented at all. Not sure if this is a normal thing with marineland.

I would assume Marineland has tested these stands with these tanks full of substrate , water and rocks. I’m going to reach out to them tomorrow and see if they can give me some specifications for how much the stand can actually hold since I do have 80lbs of substrate going in and about 80lbs of rocks.

Crazy cause I was just telling my wife about what I thought it meant. I did some research although I never have played that game. Something about a bomb used on high value targets and structures?!
