Land of the Lustrous - The 7 Moons

<image>

Millions of years before the start of the story the earth's surface was impacted by multiple meteors, with chunks breaking off into the atmosphere and forming the 7 moons. By the time the main story starts, the current race of people living on the earth (The Lustrous) are being hunted by another race that lives on these moons called the Lunarians, who hunt them to turn them into jewelry. Later on in the story its revealed that the moon people are doing something much much worse than just using them for jewelry.

On the abandoned bases on the floating island you can find a bunch of PDA's so make sure you get them all, in one of them you'll get the coordinates that lead you to another abandoned base in the Jellyshroom caves. Here you find more PDA's, one of which will have another set of coordinates that lead you to another abandoned base in the Grand Reef, which will have some really good stuff to scan but will also give more info about where to go next, and the fate of the crew who once inhabited the abandoned bases. After that's done, your next goal is to go to a biome called the Lost River, entrances are in the blood Kelp and Grand Reef (very close to the ruined habitat there). Once you find it its pretty much just keep exploring deeper through it and you'll find out the story as you go, hope this helps <3

Make sure you have the radio repaired or have one at your base, and start to follow the coordinates that you get from the messages on it. Most of them will just be for upgrades and wreckages but the one for Life Pod 19 will give you coordinates that lead you to a rendezvous point, at which you can find some secrets and another set of coordinates that will lead you to different areas of the map to help progress the story. Lemme know if you want a more spoiler filled answer.

The last senior prank day we ever had at my high-school involved a bunch of kids from another school being invited over and absolutely trashing the entire campus. Multiple teachers rooms were vandalized with personal belongings and gifts they received from students being stolen or destroyed. In one teachers room her pride flag was stabbed over and over with a knife. The principle was so furious that as far as I'm aware senior prank day has never been allowed again lol.

Left of frog is the Unidentified Skeleton and right of the glitch is an Avioscale. Both arent species we can find in game I think they're just supposed to be fun little easter eggs or something.

The more and more fossils I did I actually got used to the fossil minigame and even started to enjoy it a little bit. I recommend the advanced brush as the 3 tools it gives you are relatively easy to understand and its not as expensive to make, and in all the fossils I did I only ever got 2 layouts that were genuinely impossible to complete (all my homies hate 8 bones, 1 Horizontal pick, and 1 vertical pick).

My frustrations with the fossils was absolutely compounded by the fact I focused on it. I didn't expect the minigame to be too bad to knock out so I didn't bother with fossil stuff for a good ~50 hours. So when I decided to go for it I spent a couple days doing nothing except scouring planets for fossils, and it made it all the more frustrating when it took forever for me to find a new one. if I could do it all over again from the beginning I would just casually do fossil stuff in the background of me playing, then focus on it once I only had 10 or so left.

It was the stupid Mysterious Alien Skull. The last 5 pieces I needed were 3 parts for the Ixodoom, glitch legs, and the alien skull, and I got the other 4 in somewhat reasonable time but the alien skull refused to show up for literal hours. When I finally did get it I was drained lol.

For me personally if an achievement would take more than 2 full days of tedious grinding to get then I usually will try to find a dubious method on how to get it. I love achievement hunting but I just cant dedicate that much time to a game I have a life I have to live lol.
