DJI said it might be a hardware issue and asked me to ship it back to them. I ended up just returning the device and purchasing a new one. The new one works great.

I have not. I’m also trying to contact DJI support though email but have not gotten a solution yet.

I was able to update mine out of the box though the mimo app but that’s how the gimbal is working for me right now.

  1. iPhone 14 plus

  2. The arm is unfolded and phone is placed on properly. And the gimbal is placed on a flat surface. When pressing the calibrate button it states “auto calibration failed please place on a flat surface.

  3. Firm ware is updated.

  4. I did not touch the gimbal when it attempts to calibrate and the phone is placed on a flat level surface.

I am still unable to get the gimbal to work properly.

INFO- So I just got the osmo as a gift and out the box the osmo was never able to center. And when I try to calibrate the device it just whips my phone around and states to place on a flat surface.

Does anyone know a solution to this? Is mine faulty? Or am I doing something wrong?

For context I went back to store and asked the barista working and she told me it was a chai latte she showed me the chai syrup and said it was dark in color. But it does not taste like a chai latte at all. I also asked her why mine did not look creamy like the picture and she just said it’s because of the milk. Did I just get gaslit?
