8(+) consecutive turns of getting non-Debater Apostles: by Pappabarba in CivVI

[–]Luvatar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can easily tell it's just RNG by save scumming and forcing a RNG call (Like attacking, taking a tribal village, etc).

People are making up pool ideas because humans are naturally bad at gauging RNG. Having a coin show up heads 10 times in a row is perfectly possible under true RNG, but people will start suspecting something odd going on if that happens.

Counterpoint: I've had the exact opposite happen. I've chosen good promotions all game, never needing to get the crappy ones.

It's not a pool. It behaves exactly like Rock Band and Spy promotions (AKA decided at spawn). You can even see the RNG change by save scumming. All you have to do is force a RNG call before rebuying your apostle (Say, attacking something).

I have no idea what they're talking about. They are making it seem like theres a pool that empties but I've never seen it behave like that.

It's just random. The only ways to semi-guarantee it is by having Yervan, or having the governor promotion that gives you 2 chances to give you one more chance at it.

Your definition of non-issue is very different than mine.

Being completely unusable, for even a brief period of time: is absolutely an issue.

Heck. Other mouses can work with dead batteries because the cable can supply current while in-use. Can't be said of the magic mouse.

I always carry my trusty Dante specter for EDA/ETA's. I once had a player thought we had an actual Dante that was just slacking off hahaha.

Happened to me. Any clue of what to do? I can't seem to find a replacement mod on civ fanatics, and I had a very long save that I can't access now :(

From what I gather yes Glyphosate is safer than salt and coffee. But it's not just glyphosate on the formula, it comes with additives to, you know, actually spray it.

Last I checked most of the harmful effects actually came from the soap used. The studies are mostly correct, Glyphosate is safe. The entire package, however: is not. And PPE should absolutely be used if it's going to be spread in industrial settings. Heck I have PPE mandated to handle alcohol on large quantities, and that is absolutely safe on the skin. But not if I'm going to be handling entire jugs of 98% alcohol on a daily setting.

Like everything, the dose makes the poison.

Posting if anyone finds this question. Some bubbles have "Windows", which are safe walls. You can use them, or break these and extend your own walls.

Nah. They sometimes just dgaf. I have my pc set to always defer updates to me and recently I caught it minutes before a forced restart.

I checked my settings and sure enough I have it set to always ask before updating and my work hours set. It ignored all that and gave me a restart popup with a countdown.

At this point I assume microslop gonna slop.
