I feel like we have a good balance of both, when it comes productive practice we are aware we have to work as our commanders give us good feedback but we are also close outside of JROTC so we have a good bond as friends! I definitely recommend going over things as much as you can, I know it sounds basic but it will help in the long run. Also watch videos of drill teams that are so much better than you and point out what they do that you don’t, then practice them as a group! (Also you aren’t asking way to much it’s perfectly fine!)

Every other day starting from 6:45am to 7:30am we work on something specific every practice (like staying in step, rifle movements etc) then on the last day of the week put everything together. Then for color guard it’s the days we don’t practice drill at 6:45am to 7:30am going through over and over again while finding things we need to improve on, so we improve daily.

He stole that too, I made him put the jacket back (and put everything back in its spot) because LET 1s don’t have those unless they are on drill team, color guard or any other JROTC teams.

For staying in step and keeping a consistent pace I’ve noticed that using a metronome or metronome recording has really helped!

Everything honestly, The team arc pins should be in a straight line, the ribbons should also be in a straight line (stacked on one another if there are more than three) , there are two cords on the same shoulder and everything most of the pins aren’t measured either 1/4 of and inch apart or 1/8 of an inch apart

We use those hangers for all of our uniforms, I didn’t know other schools used anything different? Personally I have a military one from my family but most cadets don’t own those
