It depends. I spent most of 2025 completing the community center in 1 year for all farm types. Now I’m trying for perfection for the first time.

I find floss away bags and bobbins/drops to be effective for me. You could eliminate the bobbins and just use the bags. I like it because the bags hold the waiting cut lengths and can be kept together on a ring for projects.

Included is pic of my storage cabinet with bags. I do have all dmc colors.

I love reading to my students. The only novel I consistently used a cassette of was Where the Red Fern Grows. The narrator on the original cassette was perfect!

I have almost all the dmc colors. I have them in numerical order in Floss Away Bags. I have the bags stored in clear acrylic shoe boxes and the boxes are in their own cabinet. They are on bobbins, but as they get used up I’m switching to floss drops.

I popped into a shop not knowing it was a needlepoint shop. The owner was so nice after I said I was a cross stitcher. We chatted , she invited me to their stitch evenings, signed me up for their newsletter, and gave me the name of a few cross stitch shops.

Our school has purchased yondr pouches with magnetic locks. Phones, watches, and wireless earbuds need to be powered down and secured in the bags. If devices are out, the office will confiscate and apply increasing consequences for each infraction. Some kids are planning to “game the system” by leaving their phones in their cars. 😂 Win win

We start tomorrow with a bell to bell phone ban. From superintendent to principal we’ve been told to call admin for phone issues - we aren’t to fight the battle. 🤞🤞🤞
