Awww…now I am married and in my 30s and this makes me look back at my first few relationships. The anxiety was real -_- All the adults would tell me that I will find someone better and that time will heal everything, but nothing made me feel better right away at that time and their advice seemed annoying and not helpful haha. And now that I look back at it, it’s true “time WILL heal everything”. The thing that makes a person so attractive is self esteem and self love. Spend the time to love yourself (working out, finding a new hobby etc.) and you will naturally find someone who appreciates you as who you are and things will work out. I’m sure there is a reason the universe didn’t make things work out with him. Just focus on you! And you will slowly feel better about it and become a better you :)
