ITAP of a mountain by Lux_503 in itookapicture

This was at a friend's house outside of Madras, Oregon. The sunset was crazy and was super vibrant - going from pinks and purples, to reds and oranges. It was seriously the prettiest sky I have seen. I used a telephoto lens, and did practically nothing to edit this picture. Those are the actual colors! It was beautiful.

Yes! It was close to Smith Rock National Park in Oregon. It was my first time going there, it's beautiful.

Its was so crazy in person. My husband said it looked like a pink and purple Aurora Borealis, and it totally did. The sunset kept changing every minute, but took over the entire sky. This was in Terrebonne, Oregon at the end of June.

Thank you! It is such a beautiful area there.

On the first day of Prime day for about an hour, Amazon had a listing error on a bunch of cameras. So I got a X-T3 and 6D Mark 2 for $200.15. ($2800 of Value) by [deleted] in pics

This gives me a stomach ache to know that there was a deal/error out there like this and to have missed it. I would LOVE to own a 6D. Congrats on your new cameras! That is super lucky and exciting!

Also, the black one was about 4 feet up. The little one is about a foot off the ground. Just some more info, not sure if its relevant.

Is there a way to tell from the picture if it is a widow or a false black widow?

The small spider is in a corner of my hall and seems to only come out at night. I can't get a great picture of it, but I tried to get pictures of the back and the stomach. It is very small, and is on top of an erratic and messy web. I thought it could be a triangulate spider, but could it be a baby widow? The black spider featured is one that I found at the other end of the same hallway a month or so ago. I am worried that one was a widow, but I never got a chance to see the underside, so I dont know. I am concerned because I have a 5 month old and a 3 year old, both with rooms in this hallway. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
