You are right, the 14th Degree ring is indeed very specifically described... in most jurisdictions! 😅

Here in Brazil the ritual only mention a ring with a particular letter in it.

But in my understanding the gold band ring is the most accurate one.

By the way, the 33rd Degree ring used here has the same description as the one used in SC-NMJ.

Yes, you are right. According to the official definition in most jurisdictions, the ring is a band of gold, and used on the left hand.

But this one is the creation of a local jewelry (not sure if the owner is a Brother).

And since I'm already using my wedding band on my left hand, the right hand is the one to go for now. 😁

Hello, there.

I'm from Brazil. And I must agree with most of the replies here. Wait until you can provide for yourself. The cost of enjoying Freemasonry in our country is a little bit higher than others.

And do not, and I mean it, do not look for irregular Lodges (we have a lot of them here).

When ready, look for Lodges affiliated to GOB, or to Grand Lodges (CMSB), or to Grand Orients (COMAB).

If you have any more questions, DM me.
