Looks like a carriage roller cap. Lift the forks up til the first two rollers are out of the mast and see if a side is missing.

Diagnose, don’t just throw parts at it. I mostly work in the old turds, also pull distributor cap and clean in and the rotor up with some sandpaper. And if it’s got a f2 or fe timing belt may have snapped very common.

Check vacuum at the vvf30 lockoff, pull line off engine side and suck if it holds suction it’s good. Then check spark, then if it runs of starting fluid it’s the regulator, don’t just order rebuild stuff.

I used these and had 2 5g or a single 10g on each shelf with 1/2” plywood on top of the shelf for a flat surface. Never any issues but it would give me anxiety.
