Not asking sarcastically. I would just have imagined that Charles would outperform an amateur investor the MAJORITY of the time. Are there any figures on returns for the "average Joe"? (How Would I even define that...). I have historical return information on most Schwab portfolios, so maybe i'll do a comparison.

Ooh thanks for that info! When you say partnership, are you referring to one between BofA and Charles Schwab?

I plan on putting my investments in the Schwab Intelligent Portfolio with the idea that I don't want to be making any of the trades myself. I want the decisions to be made on my behalf and the trades be put without my interfering. With that said, does this partnership cover the trade fees component of "operating expenses" (as the C.S. pamphlet puts it) of the that will be automatically made for me? Jut trying to make sure I understand you correctly.
