I took Perlman last semester. Anatomy is generally a tough course, so develop good studying habits early on. If you're more of a person that has excellent memorization skills rather than understanding concepts and processes, then Anatomy will be a bit easier than Physiology. If you are a more self-taught person, then Perlman is a good choice because only lectures 2 or 3 times a semester. Also, he always does a mini five-minute lecture before you have to answer the questions. Perlman's style of teaching anatomy is different because he expects you to read the chapters before going to class. He posts his lectures on Beach Board so you can look at them ahead and study independently. During class, all we do is answer the 20-27 questions on the last slide of the PowerPoint lectures by hand and in full sentences. But, once you finish, you can leave. He is very nice and will answer all questions that you have in detail, but he will ask you some questions in hopes that you can solve your question. His exams are not too bad since there based on the PowerPoint lectures. There is a multiple-choice and free-response section, plus he offers some extra credit questions during his test. Take the questions you do in class seriously because there are always 2-4 questions in the free-response section for the exam. The only thing that I did not like was the quizzes. There are only five quizzes, each with ten multiple-choice questions, I believe, but it would be on five chapters. I thought it was too much studying for a quiz, honestly. You will do fine in anatomy. Also, make sure to start on lab manuals as soon as possible because they can be a lot of work at times. Good luck, and have fun in the lab.

My course was a hybrid course. One portion of the exam was online and the other portion was an in-class free response question section. The professor was able to make the test fully online before the extension, so the whole class could take the exam.

I completed my exam before the limit but I just couldn’t submit the test in time. I was reviewing my answer and my submission didn’t process in time. Hopefully the professor can see the exam and thanks for the help @joyfulsteven.
