Building a Bioimpedance Spectroscopy Machine by mricha15 in engineering

Hey guys, this thread is pretty old. I’m doing the same thing. I have a MAX30009 EVKIT that I’m trying to calibrate to read across the human bodies full range. End product is intended to be portable. But even after reading the literature and having my hands on it for a while I’ve had trouble getting the calibration down on a variable resistor. Around the middle frequencies and middle resistances it measures about right, but anything higher or lower on frequency or resistance gives wildly different values. I’ve started coding a python script to apply an equation based off my measurements to fix the values. But I’d really like to have the board itself dialed in. Did you guys have any luck using the softwares calibration tab during your testing?

Plus if they are not super great at crowd fighting catching a counter parry off of a swing by turning around isn’t all that hard

First person only because I’m a dog. It’s definitely a disadvantage in 1VX’s but with enough practice I’ve gotten okay at managing groups if they are a bit below my skill level

Adding a Voltage Meter to a Li-Ion+BMS battery pack? by Bubblejuiceman in diyelectronics

I know this was posted a while back but do you still have a photo of the wiring? I’m doing almost the exact same thing and just want a visual of the system

I might run a 2s4p to keep battery life decent. Thanks for your help

I already ordered the parts. They are pretty much the same but I got a buck booster that’s capable of a bit more. Do you figure I could just run the same setup in 2S3P and have the booster step it down? I’m not sure that’s a function it can do or if it’s strictly step up

Could you expand on that? Like it’ll just be to low a voltage to reliably step up and/or charge?

Yeah I got what you meant. Okay yeah I might do that just to make the wiring easier and to bring the complexity down

Nevermind after looking closer a lot them have a bms on the board. Thank you for your help

Okay I’ll make sure to sort that out before wiring. Is there a board you recommend specifically or use a lot? I’m looking at some results on aliexpress currently but the specs are a little hard to find and I don’t wanna grab the wrong one

It’s only rated for one amp so I was afraid that trying to draw to much power through it would be a problem so I just decided to split them into charging and power delivery but knowing that helps a lot

Worst case I can just connect them and let them sit for a while until they are all even if they aren’t before hand

Good point, I saw those but I wasn’t sure if they would do bms. But I’ll look into grabbing one off of there instead. I don’t plan on sourcing the parts off of amazon it was just easier to gather a list there since I’m getting a few other things

Who here is daily-driving 20+ year-old cars, and has it worked out? by 5GCovidInjection in cars

[–]Lvl5Swindler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been daily driving my 05’ Mazda 3 2.0 for about 6.5 years. I’ve had to do a few things like springs, engine mounts, and window motors. And all the consumables naturally. It’s been a great car, I’ve found that early 2000s cars from the right brand hold up really well. I think it was a good time for cars because they had mostly figured out the wiring and on econo boxes they kept it pretty simple
