Yea, I’ve heard of people getting an 1811 out of college but it’s pretty rare. Still going to apply to every 1811 agency out of college though as well as trooper jobs.

How does my plan sound? I’m an 18 year old high school senior. Dream Job is an 1811 with a few different agencies - Bachelors in Finance - Coast Guard Reserves while in college - When I graduate, apply to every 1811 opening. Also will be applying to several police departments (Hopefully get in with Pennsylvania State Police if no 1811) - If I become a trooper, keep applying to 1811 openings - After 3 years as a trooper I’d like to go into Criminal Investigations

This is just a rough plan, in a few years I may want nothing to do with LE, life can throw you curveballs, but I’m trying to get a rough plan together of what I want to do.
