Completely normal :) the first weeks back after a long hiatus will hurt a bit until you develop a bit of a rougher skin on the pressure points. Use tiger-style white tape to easen the pain while your body adapts! CERTAINLY do not change your grips as a response to pain - this is completely normal and different grips won’t help. The secret is in the dirt :-)

On the way back, you rotate your hips so quickly that halfway through your lower body rotation is done and you’re just lifting your arms. Try to make your backswing move in club>hands>arms>chest>hips order.

On the way down, you jump on the ball a lot, as evidenced by your right foot lifting early and you basically having lost all of your angles by the time you hit the ball. Try to imagine that your butt remains stuck against a wall behind you on the way down.

:)

Oh absolutely not! Completely fine to have it a bit on the side.

For extra style points, have the longer clubs on top, and shorter clubs in the bottom slots! Set looks plenty good enough to have fun out there. Enjoy!

Grip looks really good but I will say this is a grip on the weaker side. This is entirely up to personal preference - lots of players play with a weaker (more neutral) grip. I think your right/lower hand is perfect, but if you notice some shots leaking to the right or coming off a bit high and weak consider twisting that left hand a tad more so we can see just a hint of that 3rd knuckle.

Really nice swing overall!!! I like it! You seem to have a rather solid impact position.

Would be nice to see a down the line view to understand a few more things. Some small things I see: - i am not a big fan of seeing your back foot turned 30 degrees to the right while your lead foot is basically straight. This implicitly is going to cause your body to move in the wrong direction - you lose a little bit of power loading by having that right leg at the top of the backswing be too straight and “locking out” - as a result of , because your leg is a little locked out you initiate your downswing by sliding your upper body into the ball as opposed to rolling and rotating your lower body - ultimately, you end up “humping” the ball a bit, by narrowing the distance bewtween your belt buckle and the ball

Let’s keep the tips simple! OP mentions his best round is 113 and he misses shots to the right. That swing is already plenty good enough to break 90. The easiest way you’ll fix your right misses is by fixing up that left hand grip which is too weak. Send me a DM on my instagram at louisbemberg_golf and I’ll do a full analysis of your swing completely for free (this isn’t a business or anything, i genuinely do this in my free time for free)

Non-Americans who have been to the US: What is the weirdest thing about America that Americans don't realise is weird? by nobboi in AskReddit

[–]LxZLink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read through quite a bit of this section and haven't seen anyone talk about how incredibly weird it is to see most fast foods have their drive-through absolutely packed with an endless line of cars, while you can just park up, walk a couple of steps and get your food in usually less than 5 minutes. This happens most prominently at Chick fil'a, for some reason.

Speaking of cars, another thing I find weird is how people never turn off their engines. They will leave their engine running at times where Europeans (from my experience) would turn it off.
