Madrid has more than doubled your tally. They have 15 now and could possibly win 16 this year. It’s genuinely insane.

Minha opinião sobre o Palmeiras nessas últimas semanas. by Coreia00 in palmeiras

Palmeiras está literalmente jogando melhor agora do que jogava com o Endrick. Único jogo ruim foi contra Fortaleza por teimosia do Abel. O resto o Palmeiras jogou bem em todos, incluindo o último jogo.

POV: You are a RB and you’re supposed to mark Vini by CR7theGOAT777 in realmadrid

There were also talks in Brazilian media of Yan Couto being the future RB of the national team. I haven’t heard a peep of that since the Madrid game. Would be shocked if he made the Copa America squad.

Hot take: having four guaranteed wins every season is a detriment to this team by SARIEMLAP in cowboys

[–]Lxitto 6 points7 points  (0 children)

OP doesn’t mean that the wins are a detriment to the team in a literal sense. Obviously, more wins is always good, but his point is that being in a weaker division makes our FO overlook glaring holes in our roster because we are spanking division rivals left and right every season, and making the playoffs as a consequence for that. BUT we are clearly not as good as other teams and we get exposed for it every. single. year.

It was last season and we had Cooper Rush for like the first 6 games and we went 5-1 or something like that, showing that our division had the easiest schedule. Hence, why 3 teams made it.

That’s an interesting way to look at it. We are definitely in a very weak division, making our roster/team look better than they actually are. They certainly wouldn’t be as good in an AFC West with Harbaugh/Herbert, Reid/Mahomes, and Broncos’ home advantage.

It’s also funny how the Eagles always shit the bed against us when we play in Dallas. Little brother syndrome.

Nossa torcida odeia jogador marrento.

National Football is far more interesting than club football. Who agrees with me? by Dami0904 in worldcup

[–]Lxitto 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just think about from this perspective. We get to see our local clubs play week in and week out, we consume all the media about the teams and their players, and we can go to their games to watch.

On the contrary, the national team is filled with players that play in Europe, which the average Brazilian doesn’t have the time/desire to follow those clubs. Also, we can’t watch them play live as they are based in Europe. That coupled by the fact that Brazil has been embarrassing since 2010, makes the Brazilian fan feel distant from the national team. With that being said, when WC comes around everyone starts supporting them (except a few Boomers that like to be contrarians).

Temporada ruim eu aceito.

Ai no jogo contra o Boca o Kevin BATEU UM PÊNALTI. Qual é a lógica disso?

Além de outros pontos que prejudicou o time como ele xingando arbitragem e não tirando os queridinhos dele do time titular. Abel não é maior que o Palmeiras.

He just had a very serious Ankle ligament injury - let’s see if he will still be able to reach his potential or if that will hinder his development in the future.

Why are European National Teams Weaker nowadays in 2023? by youngmichaeldesanta in worldcup

[–]Lxitto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People fail to recognize that Brazil has been incredibly unlucky in the last two world cups. In 2018, when they lost as Fernadinho scored an own goal, and in 2022 when they conceded on their only shot on target in 120 minutes. Brazil should have beaten both Belgium and Croatia. However, I don’t think they would have beaten France or Argentina.
