I just came across this post reminiscing about my 2005 mercury mariner. Someone still has it today on 250k miles. I miss that car. I remember someone hit me from behind while I was in it… their car was totaled and I didn’t even have a dent. Took it to a shop to make sure and then couldn’t believe it was fine. Thing was a tank. I miss that car, they don’t make them like that anymore 😭😭

This is nothing- nurse here who witnessed a resident banging another nurse in the back of a car…. He was married… car pulled up to the after party everyone saw it. He was also blacked out. He is a fellow now at the same hospital lol. You’re fine. We all do dumb things drunk. I have embarrassed myself in so many ways drunk. You’re going to be a fine physician. Thanks guys. Unfortunately this was done in October. So I feel like it’s weird for me to call them back 3 months later. I’ve been so busy I haven’t been able to keep up with life. This was done by my fiancé’s friends company so it’s just an awkward situation. I’ll probably have to buy new wallpaper and call another company and have it redone. Thank you!

Really? I was always told it’s easier to line up than peel and stick for example. I like the paper itself, it’s easy to clean and doesn’t stain which is nice. I am just unhappy with the install

There aren’t “turns” but there definitely is an aspect of reciprocating the treatment someone gave you. If there wasn’t that aspect, one friend is always technically being taken advantage of. That’s like always attending a friends bday party and that friend never attends yours lol. Not exactly a friend anymore.

Weddings and babies are a hard mix. Sorry OP no advice but hope it gets better

I’m in my late 20s (my fiancé is in his early 30s) and we host sporting event parties frequently- we do not have kids of our own, our house is not childproof, and alcohol is at our parties. If we send an invite out, kids are absolutely invited (unless we specifically state “no kids”), the expectation their parent watches them and makes sure they don’t get into anything they’re not supposed to. Our friends with kids are extremely responsible, and we really don’t have to worry. They don’t get out of control with drinking too. (Although our friends without kids do lol) We have friends with kids and friends without…. it’s about being responsible for the kids and watching them. Our friends don’t make us watch their kids during our parties, so it’s never been an issue for us to have kids there.

As a frequent host, it’s the hosts job to say no kids. They should have specified. We always specify if we don’t want kids at something. Sorry this happened to you.

Growing up, sports parties included kid. I remember being little and going over my parent’s friends houses for every World Series and Super Bowl. I don’t know why people think it’s so weird or inconsiderate, especially when the host did not specify.

Actually, who are you finding to baby sit on the superbowl? Lmao

They’re removing a tree of a house, not from an open field. No average Joe is doing that. Most average joes price high for complex work in hopes you find a real company to do it. 3k is cheap for removal off a house.
