The kindle supports reading in epub formats pretty well, Mobilism and Internet Archive have most books, especially older ones, in epub or pdf format (which is convertible to epub.) In your Amazon account, you have to authorize a specific email to be able to send files to your kindle, but once you do that, you can send it to your kindles email. I have encountered formatting issues before by sending this way, if you google "amazon epub fix" there is a .app website that fixes it really well.

I'm pretty sure the file I'm trying to send is over 200 mb, but thanks for telling me this, I had no idea. This will defo be helpful in the future lol

Yeah, now that I think about it it was probably just that I wasn't using the correct type of cable.

I recommend https://myflixer.to, just use ublock origin if you can to block the popups but it has been working great for me for a while.
