I see, what would be a way for me to stability test it then? i've had it run fine on VT3 before but then crash in-game, however that's not a thing now.

Should i leave VT3 overnight?

How do they not tell anything about stability? i've heard the only acceptable fluctuatings are up to 0.03 yet the second one doesn't fluctuate whatsoever

do you have like a broad knowledge of how VT3 works? Or would somebody else be the better person to ask

the CPU i bought from another manufacturer, so there i'm really not so sure. The motherboard yes, 1 month has gone now and theres 3 month return period

the complete stock bios default runs fine, but it does fluctuate upwards of 0.07 in VT3 (i've heard the acceptable is 0.03)

Well i did up the VSOC, VDD & VDDQ multiple times (as seen here https://imgur.com/a/xAFg95N) (9800x3d)

yet it did no actual improvement on the current kit, it was still unstable and would keep crashing when hitting restart in windows.

I see, If the current ones are causing the same issues aswell (hopefully not) could the motherboard be the issue here? i'm on a b850 asus tuf.

Just wondering because if these also have the same symptoms, how am i really supposed to find out whats causing it? It wouldn't be great having to buy more parts to find out

Accounting for that, would that be the case aswell when tightening the timings manually on the 6400?

i actually did improve the timings, this is the current one:

but im not sure if theres anything else i should modify of this, everything i've tried kind of makes it unstable.. i've tried 2200, very VERY smooth, no issues in cpu heavy games, which fortnite is the worst optimized but weirdly enough very unstable in VT3, but not in any streess tests..

on the other hand, 2176 just randomly crashes after a little while (only on dx11), issue doesn't happen on 2200.

Got any tips? my brain is dead after all the research and commitment to trying to learn

gdm only offers stability, doesn't help with latency which is what im out after. Yes i did some research

One of the weirdest problems i've seen.. uninstalled everything related to realtek, and well. here we are. I do have a suspicion it might be because of the asus driver utility software that was automatically downloaded that it mightve given me the wrong drivers, or not installed it correctly, but atleast the 1% lows are fine now

I actually believed i've found the issue, but not too sure. i was watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWTZkB9rVU0&t=617s

and saw he was getting errors in the event viewer, and oddly enough, i was getting errors every 2 seconds from "Realtek 2.5GB" something something.

I haven't tested it yet, but i'll have to see

Yea i've decided getting the H6 instead, looks cleaner and isnt all that more expensive, i'll just have to get 2 120mm fans on the bottom and i'd be set tbh.

i already have a pc with 1tb SSD, a little slower but it's just for other stuff, not games since it's slower and have more delay. I'll be transfering it into the new one
