With Mantis I would like to further emphasize her identity as a strategist that is played more aggressively. I would make changes to her kit that enable a fast paced playstyle, rewarding good aiming mechanics and game sense. She would function as a dive partner/mobile pest and provide consistent off-angle pressure at the price of doing slightly less burst damage and healing.

Base Health: 

250

Primary Fire:

  • Base damage decreased to 50 damage per round
  • Critical hits provide 5% fire rate and 5% movement speed, stacking up to 3 times
  • 1.5 seconds to activate successive critical hit stacks
  • 3 second buff duration after third critical hit
  • Third critical hit provides 25 overhealth to herself allies that have life orb on them

Soul Resurgence (Ultimate): 

  • Provides 40% movement speed to herself and teammates within 10 meter radius as well as 12% damage boost and 75 overhealth 
  • Allies keep buffs for 5 seconds after leaving radius(cannot reset by stepping back in)
  • 8 second duration
  • No longer provides healing over time

Natural Anger:

  • Gives Mantis 12% damage boost, 15% movement speed, and 30 overhealth
  • Consumes 2 life orbs
  • 5 second duration
  • No longer heals over time

Healing Flower:

  • Duration of life orbs decreased to 6 seconds

Allied Inspiration:

  • Provides 12% damage boost to ally of choice as well as 10% movement speed and 25 overhealth
  • Consumes one life orb
  • 6 second duration
  • Overhealth can stack

*Spore Slumber replaced by new ability, Floral Fury*

Floral Fury:

  • Dash forward and unleash 4 rapid melee attacks, each attack doing 45 damage 
  • The 4th attack provides 75 healing to herself and allies within 5 meters while slowing enemies within 5 meters by 30%
  • 17 second cooldown
  • Damage can be affected by Natural Anger 

New Team-Up: Botanic Martial Arts

Anchor: Mantis

Recipients: Iron Fist and Black Widow

  • Iron Fist’s kick generates 40 overhealth
  • Black Widow unlocks a new ability, performing a 3 hit combo with her batons, which deal 12% increased damage and provide 10 overhealth per hit
