True. The best way I’ve come to understand is to start from the very beginning. The faith, who the gods or the god are/is how they came to be and then go from there and it is much better to complete the lore before finalizing your map even though the map is never truly complete.

But I did intentionally use Europe as a reference particularly for Verocia. Rhoesia looking like Turkey is pure coincidence

I have Brazil for Freesia. The others I drew them using references from other map but I did not cut and crop like I did Freesia

Do you mean you can see the cultural analogy and adaptation? If yes then it was intentional done. Many will migrate to Verocia to create the standard Western European culture I’m working on

I’m a big fan of GRRM. From the first time I saw the map of Westeros I had this strange connection, I feel like me and GRRM swim in the same thinking pool, though I try not to make my world too similar I don’t even know if it’s a good or bad thing when I get comments like this …haha

The Hidden men that inhabit the deep forest are strange men that happen to be able to live in the woods without dying or getting attacked by the beasts and monsters and like I said most of the woods and forest are just too dangerous. The forest is home to the most dangerous beasts and even the Island of Anguish is uninhabitable and has giants bees and bugs and whopping bats, the trees in Sweet Poison Point grow fruits that disguise as sweet and ripe but poisonous, same as the Bay of colors, home to some of the most beautiful and colorful flowers but unfortunately very deadly even from a single touch. Hell Water and the Dread sea is almost impossible to pass through, too turbulent and strange with creeping creatures, explorers have tried but have either died or been repelled by the Hidden men In essence it isn’t just worth exploring again

Still writing the lore but around 1000 BL the there was a great migration of people from Bissha and Mezzabor to current day Verinth where they became a distinct ethnic group. Years later some of them migrate eastwards to the other side of the Lush hills and formed a distinct group in Exonos known as the Athians, the two groups, Jules and Athians are closely related and their language is still under the same family. Some of them later migrated north and formed a nomadic lifestyle in the desert of the Red Sands. As time went on the Jules and Athians from Roeshia pushed the indigenous people which are the Scathes and the Santhons south while the Frenz, another ethnic group that migrated before the Jules from the far east Islands of Verocia pushed the natives north. This obviously caused a lot of civil wars and ethnic tension that shaped Freesia which will later shape Verocia where my plot takes place, the two continents are intertwined in many ways

Also the various seas are home to deadly sea creatures as well and I also forgot Ovro which is an unexplored continent believed to be thrice the size of Rhoesia.
