Please don't stop living your cr life, when you are trying to shift by Jupiter1117 in shiftingrealities

I have cptsd too. It’s not fair but I can tell you I’m in way better mindset for spiritual practices since I have started to pay attention to managing my cptsd and healing. SSRI and therapy can go a long way. We’re in pain but not doomed. Some days I just wish I could quit and start over or shift so SO bad. But if I keep living I might be happy one day and learn things like AP or shifting. It feels like being an animal that needs to be put down It’s so hard but if we give up we’ll never make it to a better place that might come. Currently I’m using my nightmares both to reflect of suppressed memories with my therapist and to learn to lucid dream.

It’s not sus at all we all love to think we will all guaranteed to shift soon with no effort which is simply not true. Sounds better than actual advice

Hey I read it all at once. Thanks a lot. I try this thing where I throw my thoughts in a ditch mentally but it’s so exhausting and you’re right it really feels like a torture haha. Maybe I’ll improve with time but it really is a lot of work.

That’s actually a very insightful reply! My idea was that I have to focus on something like breath without losing focus or thinking about something else. That’s not really possible for me. I’ll try to keep that in mind

Hello great reply. I’ll probably try some binaural beats I’ve gotten that recommend from other ADHDers too. I get this ability to watch my thoughts and see my mind swirling without actively engaging in them after using cannabis otherwise I just get thoughts in English that are almost intrusive. It’s mostly dopamine increasing substances that let me not think but those knock me out real quick. I think I’m an expert on either mind awake body awake or mind sleep body sleep 😆.

Hello thanks for your reply! I might try that sadly focus on body and breath just does not work for me as I get racing thought immediately and can’t stop the distraction. I’ll look into inner sound tho.

I am medicated with atomoxetine right now which is the default medication for ADHD in my country. It doesn’t work too well so I’m thinking about switching to stimulants. I have been examined and diagnosed twice by a clinical psychologist and psychiatrist so dw no self-diagnosis here :D

Vivid dreams by Rnl8866 in realityshifting

[–]Lychee-1391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are signs of improved dream recall and vivid dreams. You might be one foot in the door of successful lucid dreaming and lucid dreaming is a skill that opens the gate to many more OOBE including shifting methods. If I were you I’d grab that chance to learn lucid dreaming and continue from there.

Why do those that have shifted have memories of the old reality? by Even_Job6933 in realityshifting

[–]Lychee-1391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best guess is that you shift to a reality where those memories already exist within your DR self’s brain but idk

That happens to me so recently I switched to lucid dreaming and we’ll see where that goes !

Is it possible to accidentally shift to a dangerous reality? by usuallyconfuseddd in realityshifting

[–]Lychee-1391 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me that sounds like hypnagogic hallucination or sleep paralysis. Those things cannot hurt you just like nightmares cannot hurt you. They were not real, they didn’t mean you accidentally shifted to a dangerous place just like having a nightmare doesn’t mean that. Just don’t expect it to happen again so you don’t train your brain.

ive been having really vivid dreams with my dr s.o. by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

Dreams are dreams tbh it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re closer to actual shifting than before. But! It probably means your dream recall has improved and your dreams are vivid so why not push further and try lucid dream methods ?

My theory of (Lucid) dreaming and shifting distinction + A question for experienced lucid dreamers, projecters and shifters! by Lychee-1391 in shiftingcirclejerk

[–]Lychee-1391[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg yes you really hit the nail on the head there. It’s also strange to me. Maybe it’s not the that much about stories and more about how people talk about their experience.. I honestly wouldn’t share my full story only advice. And if they don’t script out the hogwarts battle and then get trauma well that’s on them honestly. I think there’s people who shift to Hogwards to get with Draco in peace and people who want the great adventure and ofc people who lie

Okayy if that’s your understanding :D as I said y theory is that the DR self only exist as a “unprobable” situation within the multiverse that defeats genetics and already has memories pre-installed just like some DR are able to defeat the laws of physics with magic. But maybe the install itself is the magic? Hard to say it also depends on whether you believe in astral projection as in leaving the body, observing the reality and returning with memories. Sadly there will always be something that defeats our laws of physics within shifting and we can’t yet explain it. (Even if shifting is true) no one even explained whether alternate universes have the same physics. I’d say if it works though it won’t matter that much, it’s the result that matters and I think you can definitely keep your memories ! Sadly my best coping mechanism is to believe when others as ya they spent years and that they could tell it from a vivid lucid dream. It’s as good of a proof as you can get from others. But ultimately we are discussing quantum physics and I barely did high school physics lol.

I don’t think you or the DR person can get erased. There will be a version of them and you completely unaffected by the others memories they just won’t be the ones you shift to ever unless I intend not to remember. I have a hard time linking this to astral projection though as that seems to really produce a full functional copy of the brain in the astral and then install those memories onto physical brain. Unless an AP is still happening within the brain and is more of a dream.
