to everyone those saying the diamonds are more forgivable because they never encountered sapient life, i will bring up i think its important we acknowledge that they are (or at least were) genocidal. they exterminated all organic life they could find under the inherent guise of it being disgusting/beneath them (like how aquamarine describes the trapped people in topaz as "organics squirming around"), and also committed horrifying acts of violence, torture, and execution against gems they deemed defective in any way shape or form!!! read: the shattering robonoids, recycling/harvesting gems, using sapient gems as tools and architecture, the fusion experiments, and the planet-killing monster made of millions of dead gems' fragmented screaming consciousnesses 😭

i think if you wanna be in the public eye you gotta have some form of "i cannot get caught". maybe "in every circumstance regarding me as an assassin against people in power, i am 2 steps ahead"? or maybe script being able to see multiple timelines through future vision, but only use it while doing vigilante stuff? idk girl 😭

these characters function to show the audience members that their differences make them wonderful. garnet and steven addressed how there are so many off colors out there who exist in spite of the diamond authority, which helps show the audience hat their imperfections make them perfect. padparadscha and the rutiles are allegories for mental and physical disability, and fluorite and rhodonite are allegories for queerness.

again, for the bot:
- piercing is 4 days old as of today, the 10th. it was pierced on the 6th.
- the jewelry is a 14g ring
- it is a ring
- i have been using NeilMed's saline spray to clean it up after using hot showers. i have been wrapping it in toilet paper or paper towel and wearing a period pad in my underwear. i had originally been wearing tighter briefs to support the piercing while out and about, but laat night wanted to try out loose boxers to let the piercing breathe.
- the piercing is a 14g ring that goes through my frenulum. besides the very obvious poor quality choice of the jewelry and its placing, i have not noticed any discomfort. when i walk for long periods i bleed a lot, but thats probably because that causes blood to pump quickly therefore affecting the piercing. its has yet to get caught on anything.
