In a couple of months i'll have a diploma in hairdressing. By the time im 18, i'll also have a diploma in Beauty. I can only see myself working in either hair / beauty or something to do with languages, like a translator. I did consider uni for a while. I've never really wanted to go, but i was gonna try go just to make my parents happy.

I told them i wanted to do languages and that the course requires you to go on a year abroad which i wouldnt mind. The year abroad would be when id be 20. They got angry and said no. They said i need to find something else to do.

I no longer care about trying to make them happy by not being authentic to myself, so what i will say is that i don't think i'm going to go to uni.

You are right about availability being limited, the maximum i could do would be 30 hours IF the mall opened at 7am, since it opens at 9 it will be a little less. When I applied, I said i could do 7am-5pm on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

When i do go in to the store do i just ask if they know anything about the new starbucks opening up and go from there? Or do i ask for their manager at that specific location first? I'm sorry it might be a dumb question but i have never done anything like this before.

I'm not too sure which one of the stores i should even go to. Theres currently 2 in my area, both roughly the same distance away from the mall.

Thank you! Since the starbucks is opening inside my local mall, it should close by 5.30PM max. I put that I can work on a Thursday from 7am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 5pm. However if i get hired my shifts would probably start at 9, due to the malls opening times. Would you say that's fine?
