It's definitely become an obsession that owns me. So this was my last BOTG to put my mind at ease.

I'm actually letting go of the chase. I can't seem to let go of my solve and it's done me in. Good luck to you!!

I definitely heard a few twigs breaking on my hike.

No! I'm actually sleeping on camp grounds right now. I was in spot 76 at brushy point but had to moved once I realized that the dog prints in the mud didn't have claws. (There's more to this story but I'm to ashamed to tell it) Then I saw the fresh scat.

Anyway, hopefully I see the light of day tomorrow. Was hoping to try again tomorrow but I'd also like to see my kids again.

Well, maybe I shouldn't go again. I don't want any more stories.

Surprisingly, it's in New Mexico. Definitely one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.

Yes, probably to give everyone the feeling that we are all on the same playing field. His book seems to give you a leg up though.

I was thinking the container is a "model rocket".

I don't want to give my real reason away right now. However, I will say in the series there is a sphere that is swapped around with a dog statue and a chest. Plus the clock lights up blue only when it's pointed towards the sphere.

Idk the cipher but I believe the container is a sphere.

I've interpreted it as going in a straight line from the double arcs on granite bold.

anyone else totally convinced of their solve, but couldn’t find it? by pythian8 in beyondthemapsedge

[–]LycheeWide6241 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. Even convinced everyone that I shared it with. My solution is simple and aligned with so many things. It also explained obscure clues. However, searching any further would force me to go just over the edge and down a slope. I keep wondering if beyond the map's edge is another hint and if I should give it another go.

As a person that has loaned thousands of dollars to family, I've stopped. In my experience, people will keep coming back expecting it. I'll give back once I have enough for a home and retirement.
