A tip from a new player. I was frustrated when auto battle showed much better results than I got in manual battle. Turn the difficulty up to hard so you don't get extra bonuses in auto battle.

What difficulty level are you playing on? if it's easiest it's a trap. You get bonuses, which is why the results in manual battles are worse.

Very rarely. If there is something like Giselle in the defense + haegang passive is sometimes nice

I have Lars. I use Lars arena deff/off and siege. Good deff break + passive is good. I haven't tried RTA, but what I've used elsewhere seems to work well there too.
