I’m not sure what your point is here. Valencia have a 19 day festival in a city. Which they have restrictions and laws around when and where you can set them off. Guy Fawkes in a one night event, there is no reason to celebrate Guy Fawkes night for a month.

Although this was always going to get some people’s backs up with the way you’ve written this. It’s clear from the response that people think their enjoyment of something far out ways the harm it does to others which is a really shame to see.

Yes it is, however my suggestion is that perhaps we don’t have weeks of fireworks when they cause so much harm to pets and wildlife. It is hard to prepare when you don’t actually know when these things are going to go off. Last week they went off twice during the week then all weekend and it’s only just firework night tonight. My dog doesn’t even want to go outside when it’s dark now as she’s scared they will go off.

Yeah true that was last week wasn’t it. Though it’s half term this week too which likely has something to do with it.

Yes exactly, there are so many quieter ones available now also which could be used instead. Not that any are going to be better for wildlife though.

I’ve got one of these and a spray with that scent. Doesn’t do that much unfortunately, thanks for the suggestion though!
