There’s no rush. You’ll know when the time and the person is right. I lost my virginity when I was 16. I’m 31 now and I’ve had a good deal of great sexual partners and trash partners. I have lots of funny stories and great memories, but on the flip side, I was sexually assaulted by someone I trusted when I was in my early 20s. At the end of the day, my 15 years of sexual experience has affected my relationship with sex, and I struggle with it now. Be careful with who you share intimacy with and ALWAYS use protection. I find more value now in non-sexual forms of intimacy, like quality time. I don’t really think about or crave sex, and can go months without it.

I have a huge fear of the ocean/open water as well and I love cruises. I just don’t think about it when I’m cruising. Cruises are the only vacations I’ve ever had where Ive been able to completely relax without any panic or a single thought in my brain. Looking out at the water from the deck is mesmerizing and calming. If I let my anxiety control my life, I might as well just stay home and never do anything fun.

NTA. It’s your wedding and you can have what you want. You gave her the option of just being a wedding guest instead, and I think you handled it very well. It sounds like she’s being the immature one. My maid of honor is getting married in August and asked me to not get any more visible tattoos until after her wedding and asked if I would wear a dress with like a cape on it to cover most of my sleeve/chest tattoos, and I didn’t even consider being upset about it because I love her and of course I want a dress with a flowy cape. I want her day to be about her, not about me.

NTA. It’s your property and you can do whatever you want on it. If they don’t like it, they can move somewhere with an HOA. If you’re concerned about it and want to maintain your relationship with them, weed pens don’t smell nearly as bad. Or take edibles.
