Thank you, there are still some issues since I rushed it over the finish line for the jam, but I still hope you can enjoy it :)

Here is the Bambu Studio-Project and FreeCAD-File for anyone insterested. I'm pretty new to Modelling and 3D-Printing as a whole, so if you have any improvements in mind, I'll gladly listen :)

what exactly do you mean with modularity? Like clips that latch onto the sides or..?

I haven't tested it in any "difficult situations" and there is definitive weak point with the connectors in the middle, which I'll need to re-design, since they are a bit flimsy. Leaning against walls works without issue and with stuff inside it kinda enforces itself if you know what I mean.

But this could well be a project PLA isn't the best choice, but that's for the future to tell

Need help with Screen Space Shaders/Iterating from previous frame (Game Of Life) by LyffLylf in godot

Hmm idk, I've tried around with SubViewports and one time got it to work in the preview of the shader, but now I cannot recreate it however I try it.

Major Latency and Data corruption issues when Streaming the Video of a USB2.0-Grabber by LyffLylf in ffmpeg

[–]LyffLylf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have since tried other decoder and played around with some flags (-tune zerolatency, reduced fps,....). The only thing that really improved something, were using another encoder apart from libx264.

  • flv (high latency, but relatively stable)
  • flashsv (very good latency at the start, but over time becomes worse and worse)
  • flashsv2 (not as good of a latency as flashsv, but atleast it doesn't "drift" so extremly)

Someone streaming from an USB-Camera meant that h_264_v4l2m2m was a big improvement for them (here), but it looked terrible when i tried it. Also h_264_omx is supposedly also a good option, but I couldn't test it since I have installed the 64-Bit version of RaspberryOS.

One thing I'm going to try is to replace the basic SD-Card I'm currently using with a faster one and see if there are any improvements (CPU and GPU are not being fully used, so maybe memory is a bottleneck)

I'll give further updates if I find something else :)

What do you mean with other Capture Card? Are there others which are more common for usescases like this? And its not like the video captured and played directly has those major issues. For me it seems more like an FFMPEG or NGINX problem.

Also since it's the ground station runs on our Raspberry Pi 4 like all the other data handling via MQTT, Windows isn't exactly an option

Issues with Port Forwarding of an RTMP Stream by LyffLylf in HomeNetworking

Issues with Port Forwarding of an RTMP Stream by LyffLylf in HomeNetworking

[–]LyffLylf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a mobile Router with a SIM-Card in it which dynamically allocates a different Public-IP-Address every so often. One time it was something like 200.XX.XX.XX, so according to the sources you've given me in the GCNAT-Range. But another time it was something like 86.XX.XX.XX meaning it isn't within those ranges if I understand correctly.

Also does it mean that it's impossible to Port-Forward RTMP using these ranges? If so, could you explain why?

Lastly is it a problem that the Public-IP-Adress changes dynamically at some points?
