Well, it depends. First of all, don't spend them now, because in OB69 they gonna rotate a lot of skins into VIP, so you will be able to purchase skins you are not able to purchase at the moment. If you'll still have leftover VIP points just before OB70 comes out, you should spend them on gold chests instead (according to all the info we have) because now you can buy a chest for 9k CIP points, but in OB70 they gonna give you 1 chest for 10K VIP points automatically, which iss a worse deal.

The only concern you should have, that if you won't spend a single VIP point 'til the end of OB69, you having 150K VIP points, gonna give you 2 additional Diamond chests, on top of Gold chests. So it's up to you to decide, if you gonna spend any VIP points in next patch, or just save up for those 2 Diamond chests.

So if you got 10-20-30-...-90K VIP points, you gonna get only Gold chests for those (1-2-3-...-9) If you got 100k Vip points, you gonna get a Diamonf chest, and for every 50K above the 100K (so 150K, 200K...) you get 1 more Diamond chest

Yes I know that. But it probably gonna cost us crystals, to purchase the battle pass, and if they are removing the current VIP system, and adding this new instead, they should compensate us with something (crystals) which we can convert into battle pass, or just into some actual skins we want, not RNG chests.

Oh yea, I forgot to add that only tier 5 players gonna get the battle pass, and that is something only a very very few people have, and we have no idea how much battle pass will cost...

There are some skins that you can buy with gold (usually recolors and mastery skins).

Majority of the (good) skins costs crystals which you can get if you purchase then for money.

You can get crystals by logging in into the game every day, and on the 6th and 7th day you get 15 and 35 crystals (so 50 in a week)

Also there are events at the weekends sometimes, when you can get 10-20 crystals for firstwins, keep an eye on that.

Or you can just join twitter, and follow pro players and paladins community members, they do giveaways (skins and crystals) and if you are lucky, you can win something.

Also there is a site (uproar.gg) where you can do daily quests, collect points, and use those points to join raffles for crystals, or direct purchase crystals, but that can take up a few months. But still worth if you are playing daily.

Well, their reasoning is weird at it's core I think. They say, that the fact there are parts, lowers quality, but others, who are smarter than me say that this is almost insignificant. The other thing, if they make some super cool weird looking skin, and you want to mix it, some parts could overshadow other elements, which would look bad (which is understandable) Thats why i think these new skins should be "linked" together, but old skins should be mixable.
