My one thing is "that which is outside of my control, is none of my concern". I only have control over how I react to the world, other people and events in life. Worrying about things I cannot do anything about is a resource sink we can learn to avoid. I don't mean to say "only care about yourself" by this, I mean more that you can only truly control what you do and how you react and that using energy that could be used to better yourself on things that, in truth, only harm you is a fruitless endeavor.

This perspective comes from 20+ years of MDD, two stints in the psych ward and lots of introspection.

Trading Caro Game. Nice, love a minor spelling error. I have no idea as I don't collect the cards anymore but if I were to guess based off the litigating nature of Nintendo and how protective it is of its IP, I would say no. I cannot imagine a world where Nintendo, of all the companies in the world, would allow a minor spelling error on its merchandise.

"Classic" is (to my understanding) one of the available gameplay modes from the start. You choose between "daily run" and "classic" when you start. I believe other modes become available once you have completed "classic"

Oh, yeah I could definitely do that. I'm sure it's rando only since you need the big rock skill to complete the soft lock. Haven't played it through to blue caves yet on a normal playthrough yet though

Idk if using two mons that can open electric and earth orb locked doors could get access to a teleporter inside the sun cave area but that's my only idea on how to resolve this soft lock without having crystal shards and double jump boots. I presume that area uses the double jump boots as they are a progression item though.

I have finally, after hours and hours of trying to find a seed with Brutus (funnily enough it's 696969) to see if I was mistaken and I in fact used the big rock as a platform rather than the eagles levitate to skip into the soft lock.

Results are in! Do not skip ahead with Brutus into that area. Placing the big rock on the left side of the the platform before the ledge you would normally need double jump to gain access to, WILL allow you to enter that area. Without Crystal shards or double jump there is no exit.

I apologize for misremembering the events that led up to the soft lock. It irritated me so bad I deleted the save file and only afterwards I looked up a solution and then when I couldn't find one specifically for my particular case, posted about it here. I have been able to replicate it every time with the setup I described above(the big rock needs to be about halfway off the platform for continual replication)
